After a long day at the beach with your new folding beach chairs, you will definatley have worked up an appetite and having a wonderful set of dining chairs that you have made with your own hands will make the meal all the more pleasurable.

Dining room chairs generally come with tables, but more and more people are thinking outside the box when it comes to their furniture needs.  Having bought an old carved door from a French Vineyard, we decided to place a pane of glass over the top and use it as our dining room table.  The chairs had to work with the chunky feel and we found just the right ones in the set of plans.

Although there are only a dozen or so to choose from, if you want to customize a chair, the dining room chair is the easiest to redesign once you have a template to work from.

That is one of the greatest advantages of building your own furniture in that you can customize it without adding a massive price tag to the end product.  Bespoke without breaking the bank.
